Tabbing/Stamping
Tabbing, also known as wafer sealing, is required for all letter size self mailers claiming automation (barcoded) rates. At Thomas Lee Printing & Mailing, our high-speed equipment is capable of applying up to two tabs in one pass, assuring that your mailpiece will qualify for all automation discounts. Our equipment will apply white, colored, foil or translucent tabs at speeds up to 20,000 pieces per hour. Tabbing requirements vary greatly, depending on the size and design of the piece and orientation of the mailing panel, so call us before you begin printing your piece and we will be glad to advise you of any changes that can save you valuable time and money.

This machine will also apply live postage stamps of any denomination. The Direct Marketing Association claims that stamped mail has a higher response rate than mail using indicia or meter impression. Our equipment can affix standard, first class or non-profit stamps to virtually any mailpiece, increasing the readability and response of your mail.
